An Olympian Embraces The Quiet Life

Olympians are a lot like Christians- they have a singular goal and sacrifice everything for it.

As someone who lived in New Jersey for many years, I couldn’t help but follow the meteoric rise of Sydney McLaughlin. Sydney is perhaps the greatest track athlete out of the Granite State and widely seen as a Catholic school heroine, having put the Union Catholic High School track program into the national spotlight.

And, as it turns out, we may have uncovered another devotee of The Quiet Life. This article shares how Sydney kept a low profile as she sprinted (ok hurdled technically) towards the Gold medal.
