Here’s a confession of mine: I didn’t understand the devotion to Divine Mercy until about five years ago. Today, my kids love to pray it, albeit in part because it’s much shorter than praying the Rosary.

Kids like brevity.

Another devotion that has been foreign to me is that of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. As the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart today, this explainer is helpful.
