The weekend is here and this will either bring you joy or a hint of dread. Joy because you can catch a breath. Dread, perhaps, because you realize that your todo list is still calling our your name.

Clean the house
Do returns
Before you know it, your weekend is as busy as the workweek. Not good but certainly understandable.
When this happens, our weekend prayer time can suffer. I suggest two options:

- Find quiet time before the day gets going.
- Give yourself permission to get the day going and pray later, after you’ve had a chance to get a few things done.
The key is to pray and be intentional about your time with the Lord. Don’t beat yourself up if your weekend prayer times look different from the rest of the week.
