Where you pray matters. While it’s true that God is everywhere and we can pray in any location on planet Earth, there are certain spaces that lend themselves to deeper thought and better listening when we pray.

My prayer spot is a corner in my home office, black leather chair-equipped and with a nice view out the window. It works for me but occasionally I will mix it up and pray in the family room. About once a month, when the kids are sleeping in on the weekend, that alternative spot is like a treat, setting me up for prayer.
