Ah, that frustrating moment when you see a few pounds taken off your bank account because you forgot to cancel some freaking service before its trial period ends.
Now there are some categories which are just software; some genuine service that is subscription. But, these products which rely on prospects forgetting to cancel during the trial period should be called neither — These are S-Ass (Software with ASS) rather than SaaS.
In our household, we have lost some by forgetting to cancel before the trial period ends; whether some app on the phone or some digital service we wanted to try. I am pretty sure we are not alone here.
Stand on your product or service's strength rather than getting revenue from missed cancellations.
Each transaction is no shattering sum, but paltry; yet every little doesn't flipping help. Makes me wonder about this dark economy; the wasted money and the companies that rely on this sort of revenue.
Why can't there be any regulation around this area rather than the individual's ability to set reminders?
