Finding a good designer is always a challenging task. I found Shashank while I was on one such hunt for a good designer. His designs caught my eyes and I contacted him and it's been half a decade of working together. I have known him as both a smart working individual and a joyful young boy.

At the early stage of the pandemic, when Shasha again approached me for designing work. I did have work for him but not the kind of work that would challenge him, so I sat with him and asked about all his passions. He stayed mum and stared cluelessly at me, so I asked him to tell me if he had ever made any strategic plan for his life. To my surprise, he told me he had a retirement plan to have a coffee business. Then on asking about it in detail he told me the story that you will find in our first newsletter. I believed in his passion and knew his work ethic but I for one was in no mood to wait till he retired, and so I asked him if he would like to start the business now, and once he said yes, we dived in. We had this talk on the 14th of November 2021 and after weeks of brainstorming, we made El Mejor official in December 2021.
