How to | Apple iPad | how to shut down iPad when Touchscreen power off slider is not responding

• iPad power off slider was not responding.   

• Force shut off iPad by:

1. quick release volume up button,
2. quick release volume down button,
3. hold down power off button until apple logo appears.  This will shut down iPad.
