Today I was reading a comment by Louis Gallois — a veteran of French industry and former Airbus CEO — on how slow the European Union has become in making decisions, and how far behind China we are in technology, especially in the electric vehicle sector.
What struck me most was his remark:
“We are the emerging market,” he told BFM TV. “They are ten years ahead.”
He’s right. It hurts to admit, but the roles are being reversed.
It’s time to roll up our sleeves and, with humility, start learning from those who are now ahead of us.
