It is the q-word around here... I won't say it directly, because we all know what would happen. There are next to no unsolicited marketing emails. Spam? Never heard of her. Everything, much like the First First Day of HEY, is--dare I say it--controlled chaos. Knock on wood.
I wrotelast night this morning (I guess) that The Screener was all powerful. I truly meant that. If you hold down Shift on your keyboard, you can even say "Fuck No!" to things! I discovered that by accident and never knew that I needed that button in my email until now.
Truth be told, I was a little hesitant towards HEY for You. An annual plan for an email service I adore is a lot to stomach. But with renewals coming up, it was time to readjust the way my finances were and make this investment. HEY is a valuable tool in my toolbox now. And using it has not only given me time back, but also so many ideas for the service that I've shared with Jason Fried and DHH over the years as well. Why the hell would I not bite the bullet?
So, I'm making the changes that are going to make me happy. That even includes changing permanent operating system setups for the first time in years, something I've been apprehensive towards for a long time. But that's a story for another time...
HEY is simply a treasure!
Thanks to it, I've fallen in love with old-school email again.
