Every day I log into LinkedIn to remind myself that my life is pretty damn good.
Take a scroll. Witness the sadness.
The feed overflows with life advice, job advice, and self aggrandizing accomplishments. Half the people are winning. Half the people are losing their ass. And 100% of the people believe your world would be better if you listened to them.
And everyone is right. Not only is everyone right, but everyone is right at the same time.
Advice is like Sex Panther (Made from real panther). 60% of the time it works all the time. Advice is more likely to work if you have the personality of the person giving the advice, and that's the truth of advice. It's personality driven. So unless you personally know the person giving said advice, it's hard to know whether you will be able to execute the advice you are given.
The one thing I'm certain of. The more advice you seek the less likely you will be able to help yourself... because you don't actually know who you are.
