I found this to be a particularly tough week of media, so gross that there was very little I feel comfortable forwarding. On the flip-side, my son finally went back to in-person schooling, Bitcoin hit a new all-time high, and a few of my friends and customers made some really big waves in the world. Optimism is still warranted, but sheesh they're making it tough. Without further ado, the links!

One of the main problems in the world is that so many people are trying to be INTERESTING rather than INTERESTED. This podcast is a perfect example of the magic that can occur when two brilliant people are actually interested. It's a wide ranging discussion that is a pleasure to listen to.
Sugar Industry Paid Scientists to Blame Fat

This is an oldie but goodie that many people missed. It's a rare look behind the curtain. You can extrapolate this out to many other problems, but think how many people's lives were ruined or ended by this one thing alone. It's unconscionable. And of course, it's 5 years later and there has been no accountability or even attempt to correct and make up the damage.

It's hard to even put this newsletter together sometimes because the basic state of media is LIES and then media pointing out those lies. It's fairly tedious. At this point, I assume people either get it or they never will. This one is good because it's not really in the realm of politics (although everything is political now and you can see that the lies come from ideology). But it's particularly worthwhile because Nic is one of the smartest Bitcoiners and does a great job of explaining how things actually work and where people get them wrong.
