Hello hello, welcome back to this week's edition of Sunday Chillin'! Hope everyone is enjoying themselves in the throes of summer :)
Good golly it's been a while since my last newsletter! The passage of time is relentless but I suppose a whole lot has happened in the last 3 months of my absence.
Some life updates for you all:
Good golly it's been a while since my last newsletter! The passage of time is relentless but I suppose a whole lot has happened in the last 3 months of my absence.
Some life updates for you all:
- I finished up at Stanfy and moved back to NYC after a brief rest period at home. I'm in Brooklyn now (but not in Billysburg like last time) and although the building and area are nice and quiet, the jury is still out on whether I'll be in this apartment more than one year. Taking 40+ minutes to get anywhere in Manhattan is kinda not The Move for my intended lifestyle. Though my wallet may weep, I may have to bite the bullet and move into Manhattan next year. Or perhaps the many new developments in LIC will beckon to me. I'll keep you updated. [1]
- I started working as a data scientist at an AI company, eschewing my two degrees entirely. Do not fret though, I still intend on returning to the Natural World™ sooner than later once the houses are all in order and Jupiter enters opposition once more. [2]
- You will be glad to hear that I am staying hydrated.
- I've been getting back into lots of hobbies again. Maybe I'll share some photos and drawings if they're any good. [3]
On the other hand, my music listening has actually dropped quite a lot :O More to say on this later but I feel like I'm back in the mood to create things more than consume content (so maybe longer newsletters will make a comeback). Don't worry though, I always have enough in the pipeline for this newsletter so the coffer will never run dry.
To prove my point, here are six (6) songs that I think you might like. I know, I know, generous beyond belief, but what can I say? I've really Changed.

[1] What's goin' on with rent prices, amirite?? Though high-rise buildings are popping up in LIC at a rate not seen since the latter half of the 19th century, rent has continued to climb. A bleak situation but the folly of youth lets me look the other way when transferring money to the Landed Gentry.
[2] I literally had to look up "what's a cosmic event that only happens once every 5 years or so" and the first response was about the merger of neutron stars, which is detectable by gravitational wave activity. But this is entirely too hoity-toity and not at all what I was going for so the opposition of Jupiter will have to do.
[3] Art is a cruel mistress so I'll take what I can get. Don't expect Picasso-level work though (mainly bc who tf knows what he was thinking when he made those paintings).
[4] Yes, Tommy Richman of MILLION DOLLAR BABY fame. Turns out the rest of his discography is a bop as well, highly recommend giving it all a listen.
[5] I'm going to start calling people out by name pretty soon so watch out 😳
