Monte do Gozo, Mount Joy, is the last hill on the pilgrimage to Santiago.  At the top of the hill you can see the spires of the cathedral, a sight of great joy.

Joy is one of the many emotions we experienced at our journey’s end—I was relieved, tired, proud and joyous.  Mixed in was the question Why?   
 
Yesterday we picked up our compostelas,  the official certificate of completion.   At that moment there was no more questioning of why.

We are spending several days here before flying to London.   The Spanish post office provides a bike shipping service, it will good to be free from the saddle!
