I've made a good living off the 10% of 10% of 10% formula.
If you send out a zero spam, 100% opt-in email to a list of (let's say) 100,000 of your ideal client persona (ideal customers) you should be able to get:
- 10% or 10,000 to engage deeply (Marketing Qualified Leads - MQLs)
- And 10% of those would take a meeting, take a call, meet on a Zoom, etc. So that makes 1,000 SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads).
- And 10% of those SQLs would become 100 sales.
You can use tools like Dotdigital.com or Orum.com to accomplish the above. There are 1B+ professionals on LinkedIn, and you can also easily use their filters and LinkedIn algorithms to do the above.
Example: if you had a Kajabi 'course' that sells for $49 per month, then the above example would produce $4,900 per month in residual income. It costs me around $1,000 to reach 100,000 ideal clients for membership in the NYDLA.org (membership is $25 per month). Your mileage my vary, but probably by not more than 5%. So, my 'course' would make me $4,900 per month for an investment of $1,000. 100 new NYDLA.org members would be $2,500 per month in new membership dues. Not a bad ROI.
