There is only one BOONTON in the USA. I just did the math, and 65% of my time on the planet (so far) has been traveling up and down Main Street BOONTON USA.

And yesterday was my first time (ever) visiting Boonton Thai Cuisine. I had a lunch meeting yesterday with a new client from Livingston, NJ and they picked the venue. Huh. Wow. Interesting (I thought to myself) that I'll be going to Boonton Thai Cuisine for the first time after all these years.

And it was good. Really good. So good that it made me pause. And reflect.

Why did it take a stranger to suggest a venue in my own home town (living in Boonton Township) ??? Why (how) did I live all these years in BOONTON USA and never visit Boonton Thai Cuisine? And how many other shops or stores or restaurants are there on Main Street Boonton USA that I have never tried? I drove right past them all these years, and never stepped inside. How is this possible? 

A few years ago I launched BoontonWorks.com which was basically a (virtual) Business Foundry. Riffing off the fact that Boonton Iron Works was a very famous Iron Foundry back in the day. And that from that foundry, the Town of Boonton got its fame and its financial success. So, via BoontonWorks.com we would invite folks to work from Main Street Boonton USA. There were more than enough coffee shops and restaurants and such. Who needs WeWork when you have BoontonWorks.com and a laptop, right?  And I am sure that the merchants up and down Main Street Boonton would welcome the new traffic from a 5 or 10 mile radius. Boonton has a train station and bus that runs to NYC on the hour. Right up and down Main Street BOONTON USA. 

2026: I can't wait to have my next BoontonWorks.com client meeting at Boonton Thai Cuisine. And at any other venue that slipped through the cracks over the last 40 years.
