This past week we attended a Zoom Partner event in NYC. Zoom is all about 'remote' but it just goes to prove that humans are social creatures.
The Zoom 'Map and Mingle' Partner Event was at Electric Shuffle NYC at 44 W 30th. Perfect venue for such an event. What I noticed was this: many (many) small teams of people were hosting their own events. Could have been colleagues from work, could have been folks from https://virginhotels.com/new-york/ right next door.

Earlier this year 46,910 members of the (now) GlobalDLA.org attended the HIMSS.org event, live. Earlier this month 41,300 members attended InfoComm in Orlando. And we shall follow up, Follow Up, FOLLOW UP with all of them. But I clearly realize that good ol' handshakes and (paper) business card exchanges are still very much a part of the business world.
Attending Trade Shows (LIVE) is great. But good food and grog all around.......
from The Big Apple. It's hard to top that.
Unless of course it is a Trade Show FROM The Big Apple.... Javits Center, anyone?
