A solid Monday. Here's the recap.
Bible Reading
Micah 5 - This was interesting. There seemed to be some messianic prophecy in this chapter, speaking of a descendant of Bethlehem who will become a ruler of Israel and gather up the remnant and spread his name to the end of the earth. There will be peace when he comes. I haven't studied the messianic prophecies much, but it was interesting to read this.
Workouts
I got in a nice endurance ride for about 110 minutes. There were some brief moments of sun, but it was mostly cloudy. It was in the 60s though, so I won't complain.

Diet
Breakfast: oatmeal with dark chocolate and peanut butter.
Lunch: Left over chicken fajitas from Cali burrito.
Dinner: left over assortment of chicken, pork chops, green beans and potatoes.
Snacks: Mixed nuts
Reading
I finished Rule 4 of 12 Rules for Life. The rule was to compare yourself to who you were yesterday and not to who someone else is today. Peterson wrote about how improvement of a person is based on what they aim towards. Because humans are quite biologically nearsighted, we can only see what we are focusing on, we miss a lot of potential for growth. If we're focused on the wrong things, we'll only get frustrated because we'll keep trying to grow in areas where we can't, and we won't see the opportunities that might be better suited for us. Peterson also writes about a framework for daily growth that involves asking yourself 3 questions. What can I fix right now? Is it something I should fix? Is it something I would fix if I could? If the answer to any of these questions is no, you should aim at something else. I really enjoyed this rule.
Progress
Considering the awful lunch I had yesterday, my weight wasn't too bad this morning. I was 182.8.

Water
a little over 130oz.
Cheats/Alcohol
None
