#75Hard day 63

Here's the recap for today

Bible Reading
Zechariah 2 - It is prophesied that Jerusalem will be protected by God and restored to glory.

Workouts

Did a nice steady sweet spot power ride around my favorite hills.  The trees are starting to get more leafy, and it was nice and sunny.  It was a bit cooler, in the 60s, but still quite pleasant.

Reading
I'm continuing in rule 10.  Peterson continues to write about the importance of precision in speech by giving an example of a marriage that failed after a wife discovers his husband was unfaithful.  Peterson explains that this infidelity creates chaos by turning the husband into a stranger to his wife, and the wife into a stranger to her self.  She has no trust in her unfaithful husband, and no trust in her ability to perceive the truth.  And this all started because something, a long while back, was not communicated with precision.  It could have been something as little as not picking up your clothes, or something as big as differences in opinion on child raising.  But it wasn't communicated, and the stew simmered and simmered until it overflowed and made a mess everywhere.  This was a nice reminder that it is always better to communicate with my partner not only the things that I love, but also the things that bug me.  So that I can figure out of I'm just being an intolerant bugger, or if perhaps we can work together to make each other more agreeable to one another.
