Apps come in different shapes and sizes, but the new trend is those coming with a philosophy attached to it. Like for example, Hey itself, where you are reading this. You can read the Hey Manifesto here.
Another is MyMind - which I've started using recently and I really like the simplicity that it offers. You should read their manifesto to understand what it is about and I fell for it. I like the idea of making clean, simple software that does one thing really well and that is exactly what these apps are doing.
If you know any other apps that are similar, do let me know. I'm reachable at tinu@hey.com. Or even if you have a similar idea you would like help built - we, the folks at Nuventure are at your service.
