... because, I haven't been this excited to try new software in the recent past. I haven't had a personal blog ever since I took down my old Wordpress blog many years ago. I did have the urge to blog many times, but it didn't take off due to time constraints and the barriers of having to setup a new blog - how, where and what to use. So, when I read about HEY World, it was more than exciting that I could just write an email and it would be published automatically, where you are reading this right now.

I like simple ideas and this is a great one at that. I hope to write more here down the lane. For me, this would be a place to write more of what I learn and share. To begin with, I've been using a couple of amazing software recently that I came across, which I would like to share:

HEY (of-course)

From the makers of Basecamp, this has become my personal email address and more than that, an email client itself (I redirect my work email to HEY) and a feed-reader. I like how minimalistic it is, yet so powerful.

MyMind

I used Pinboard for a very long time, and it worked alright, but visual bookmarking is great and @mymind nails it right. Do read their Manifesto to know why. It's in private beta, let me know if you would like an invite.

Mimestream

For other email addresses that I have (which are not redirected to HEY) and for sending emails from my work email address because HEY can't just yet send emails via all forwarded addresses such as Google G Suite - too bad! :( Mimestream is a fantastic native Gmail client for Mac which is currently in beta, and it feels just so Mac.

That's all from me for now, looking forward. Until then, just want to shout, Hello (HEY) world!
