Less is more! Less, but better? Reduce options. Increase focus. Discipline over distraction. Sacrifice.
This, is terrible advice.

In fact, it is the opposite that encapsulates everything I have ever done.
I played the drums – won awards – left.
I was an athlete – won races – moved on.
I built software – launched successfully – shut everything down.
I am established in the local world of tech and design – have a GREAT job – and leave the country.
That might sound like a tragical tale of a soul that never commits, never arrives, never finds its spark, but I choose to look at it differently. I choose to see(k) the perspective.
I played music – and could've doubled down on it. I was an athlete – in 2 disciplines – and could've sacrificed everything else. I launched my software – and could've made my career out of it.
I didn't. And I'm still making my way, out of everything.
The narrow path of hustling is nice. Looking at the singular light at the end of it motivates, for sure! But what if I turn my head to the left and right? What is next to that path? What surrounds me?
I wander through these worlds, join the people sprinting along a path, and leave again whenever I feel like it. I tinker around and experience. I do that with a very ambitious drive of an overachiever, but it is the perspective I am aiming for.
