Personal Ai Avatar

An idea I that's been floating around in my mind for the last week, is that of a Personal Ai Avatar. Imagine going to somone's webpage and being met with a multi-modal Avatar of that person. An Avatar that you can interact with on that person's behalf.

You mean like Chat GPT? Yes, But.. Customized to mimic and interact like a specific person. This Avatar wont be useful for your normal Large Language Model needs. It will likely perform worse than any free version of an LLM wrapper, like Chat GPT for example, on almost every single metric. Say for one.

The world is now abound with LLM's, and soon Multimodal Models. Probably sooner than we think. And as we inch our way towards faster, better, and cheaper ones, we may soon see very small ultra specified models. Models that can outperform the more general purpose ones in their area of expertise. Or rather, their training.

Personal Ai Avatars that can outperform other traditional media might be just around the corner. Let's look at this through the eyes of someone who might benefit from this. Imagine you are a head-hunter. You may go to someone's LinkedIn profile. Probably Google them too. If this candidate seems like she might fit the role, you shoot them an email. And then you.. Wait.

If you are lucky, they are ahead of the curve, and have an Email Agent that could take care of the first couple of interactions. Maybe even responding within minutes. This is already quite the leap from the traditional flow. A flow where you inquery will likely get ignored, and if it doesn't, maybe having to wait days before any response.

Enter the Personal Ai Avatar. Now when the head-hunter presses on your link, they are redirected to a web app with an Avatar you can interact with immediately. One which specializes in answering your job inquerys. One that already might give you hints about personality fit. It may even be able to answer questions regarding personality based on your 16 personalities results.

The Avatar will be able to answer your questions voice-to-voice in any language. You can ask specifically about niche knowledge that the person might have. They have all links, and information at hand -At internet speed!

Finally, if the head-hunter wants to move forward, they can upload the job description. The Avatar can scan it right then and there on behalf of the persons minimum requirements. It may even add follow up questions like: "What is the salary range?" Or "Is this a hybrid or remote position?".

Depending on this interaction, the head-hunter and the Avatar can now find a suitable time for an interview between the head-hunter and the actual person.

What a world we (soon) live in.
