I am ready for the weekend. This week has been a turbulent one. Not only on the world stage, where Trump, and the EU are stealing all the headlines. But also one personally. I have a lot to think and plan about my roof. We also had some tight deadlines as work.
I don't subscribe to that many news outlets. In fact I see very little news these. If something is important enought, it will reach me. I have had this mentality for a while now, and I think it is one of the reasons why I stay calm and have generally low stress level.
Combine no news, no Social Media, and an effort towards 'slow' things like reading and you've got a pretty lax cocktail.
That being said, even the strongest dam wont hold an ocean. So I am looking forward to the weekend. I hope I get more time to work on my website, and perhaps make some strides in the book I am currently reading: The way of Kings.
