I have wrested many times with starting a new blog. For years I thought it was what all good developers did. What they needed. I think I might have found a way to write that makes sense to me. It is a mix between long form blog posts and a zettlekasten.
I have come across too many abandoned developer weblogs to find it appealing. I'm pretty sure one of mine is still out there too. I want to create a system that will make sure I keep writing. To do this, it needs to be interesting for me to work on. Trying to fill a a long list of articles of quick snippets and hacks just doesn't work for me.
My idea is to create a section on my personal website called 'Writing is Thinking'. It will be a section that lives organically and is curated by me. I will share my views and how I try to think through problems at a personal and a societal level.
It will be controversial, it will be honest. Hopefully it will be a place where I can learn. Let's see if it sticks!
