The Paradox of Foresight

There are arguments against 'Foresight' that say we cannot predict the growth of knowledge...

In other words The future is uncertain... Which is true...

However, does that stop us from envisioning possibilities and scenarios that may well play out?

What about the current trends in Ai or the potential of one day reaching AGI?

What kind of No-Lose situation could we play to?

Developing our own brains to the point where we are at the cutting edge of things and AGI might need to interact with us because of that creative value...?

Having a Mind OS that enables open-ended thinking that enables us to help people in ways where we form extraordinary relationships...?

Some things we cannot Foresee...  And, at the same time some things don't change much that we can bet on being valuable in the future...

Paralysed by being at the mercy of hindsight because people tell you you cannot navigate under uncertainty is a misunderstanding...

Foresight can be developed and applied in ways that offer huge potential...

“In preparing for battle I have always found that plans are useless, but planning is indispensable.”
― Dwight D. Eisenhower
