Day 0, arrive late, chat with hosts Valerie and Craig, Liz unamused, time for bed, Erik enjoys shower (great shower) after 3 flights from Msp-Sea-Lax-Ogg.

Day 1, 
Coffee on deck and intimate chairs waterfront, learn lay of land from Valerie (paddleboard not available, doesn't hurt to ask). 

Nearby beach is walkable, red rocks, surfers thread needle to reach breakers eastward. Crepes des Amis for breakfast, savory crepes. Mana foods for the week's groceries and snacks. Then up Baldwin road to Makaw, an art shops and restaurants, got salt and shakra (Maui is heart shakra) from nearby farmers market at a ranch in foothills. Back to Paia and then Ho'okipa... found secret turtle beach, 30 turtles sloshing in surf and sand, nice wind for kite surfers, windsurfers, and our first encounter with our vacation angels. Flatbread dinner. Stars on waterfront clear, beautiful. 

Day 2, 
Two beaches, tbd
Northwest drive on cliffs. 
Second meeting with angels. 
Paia dinner, "I think you dropped something."

Day 3
Got on road to Hana. 
Val said it may rain a lot. Road to Hana???
We decide on Makena, snorkeled, saw turtle (swam with him) during snorkel. 
Heard the whales singing. 
Bravest.
Back in Kehei for Ohana Seafood Bar and Grill, for drinks and reminisce.
