Dear Roosevelt Landings Neighbors,

Tuesday's court date has been rescheduled and the next date is scheduled for 10/06 at 10:30 AM. 

We have a new judge and Tuesday's hearing will be about whether this judge does or does not permit L&M's and the PSC's request for a change of venue. They want to move our case to Albany. We strenuously object to their doing so. Meanwhile, our Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) continues until the court decides otherwise. Our TRO is not on the docket for 10/6 and is therefore extended until this issue is decided. . 

The change of venue hearing will take place virtually. The courtroom is relatively small. You can attend the proceedings virtually and the more folks who do so, the better! Having many folks log on can convince the judge that changing the venue takes transparency away from many seriously concerned residents. It is best for the judge to see the great volume of people who are watching and anxious about the outcome.

We do not yet have the link to the proceedings. We will post notices in the lobbies, elevator vestibules and will distribute the information through our email list. If you know of anyone who has yet to register for the email list, it is extremely important they do so. They can easily use the link or the QR code. below. If you can print the attached flier and tape it to your door for your neighbors to see, that would also be very helpful since management has been removing the notices we put in public places.
