Today, Bill Salo Esq. submitted a request for mediation to Hon. Judge Moyne who you may remember from the recent "Venue Change" hearing on our Article 78 Challenge. The request includes a cover letter from Bill and an affirmation from myself clearly stating the case for our concerns and the our interest in mediation.
We have yet to hear Judge Moyne's decision on our case. During the recent hearing, he expressed an interest in seeing the parties engage in mediation. We felt it best to let him know that we are ready, willing, and very interested in pursuing the matter through his suggested means.
In addition, our Temporary Restraining Order that prevented the landlord from submetering as they had planned on September 1st, is still in effect. While you will get shadow bills from Metergy, you should not be receiving an actual bill, and you should not pay one. If you believe you are receiving an actual bill, please email Bajram Bicic a scan immediately, and cc me. If you paid a Metergy shadow bill, please inform Bajram Bici immediately, and cc me.
