CRASH

Allow people to be themselves. A quote that has been ringing in my head for over 2 months. I think my mistake is thinking others will listen to real life warnings. If I’ve experienced something before you and now the experience has made its way to you, and I can keep you from the pain or anguish, I will give you my 2 cents. But that’s all it is, 2 cents. Why do I waste my breath on individuals who don’t appreciate the warning? Because I care or because I love them. I think the stress comes as anxiety when I watch people harm themselves and ignore what I'm saying all together. Its almost like what I'm saying is horrific or something negative or maybe insulting to them. It feels like when your mother told you don’t touch the stove, but you still reach the stove and get burned. In that case, you might as well touch the stove and. Blow up the house. That’s how I will approach it now. Let people crash! I will not recover them from the wreckage because I gave them fair warning and if I didn’t give them  a lesson they have to learn on their own. The student has to become the teacher, and the teacher must again turn into the student. If I get in the middle of any big subject that can be traumatizing or catastrophic to an individual, I will be the accomplice to the wreck. Human beings never think about the reason they are crashing. People only reflect about the moment and  what is happening in that moment. If you see similarities in a person of an individual who harmed you. The mind goes into a defense mechanism, feeling and believing they will do the same thing as the individual who harmed you in the first place. It's going to be hard for me to do, but I have to let people crash for my sanity, my own mental health.
