Hello there
Back again with another instalment of What I Heard, Read and Saw. As a reminder this is my first mini series I started back in September where I'll be posting whenever I fill up these three slots β one for something interesting I recently listened to, one for something I read that I liked, and one for something I saw that caught my eye! So here goes #2.

A captivating discussion on the Alphalist.CTO podcast between Tobias Schlottke (host) and David Heinemeier Hansson, CTO of Basecamp and Hey and creator of Ruby-on-Rails on the benefits of remote working, bootstrapping, small teams and skipping product discovery. A thought-provoking episode that you should listen to it if you're into entrepreneurship, productivity and coding πΎ. You can listen to it here https://overcast.fm/+a3I3M86fI

If you know me the slightest you'd know how much I'm into health and nutrition. I should mention here that a few months ago I started having anatomΔ's supplements on Cognitive Focus + Memory Support. I find them to work when WFH - they provide a constant state of concentration and focus especially when jumping between projects, something that would have easily distracted me before. Anyway, back to what I read. I found the references of this article really interesting and kinda made to read more about the ingredients that are found in the supplements. I'm talking about the blend of nootropic mushrooms that act as adaptogens - what are these adaptogens you ask? They are simply natural herbs that uniquely adapt their function to specific needs of our body - e.g. fighting stress and improving concentration. I urge you to have a quick read at the article (it's okay to skip the references) and learn more about how traditional Eastern medicine and these amazing adaptogens can help is in our daily lives (depending on your needs and priorities of course). ππ¨πΌβπ»

What did I see that caught my eye? What did I seeeeee.. I'm keeping it simple again as I did with the corresponding slot in #1. Nature. It's just something that I truly find mesmerising. Raw nature - raw f*cking nature! I can't see myself ever being bored of it. Always different and unpredictable yet surprisingly calming to the eye despite certain preconceived regimes and expectations (i.e. climate). Certainly a much welcoming surprise to us Londoners was the wonderful weather with clear skies we've experienced a couple of weeks ago (yes, before storm Eunice). So today I want to share a picture of the sunset that I'd like to refer to as the small miracle of London in winter 2022 - and here it goes, sunset at Hyde Park on a random office break in early Feb.
Thatβs it for now - I hope you enjoyed it. Until the next time πΒ
