7:43am.
I want to write this morning, but I'm having to embrace an imperfect environment for it.
I'v got the school run at 8:30am, and then a call I need to take between 10am and 11am.
I want to write this morning, but I'm having to embrace an imperfect environment for it.
I'v got the school run at 8:30am, and then a call I need to take between 10am and 11am.
- Can I still turn up and do some work on this project?
- Can I still get on with it?
- Can I use the same 'deep work' principles in shorter time frames?
Of course I can, I just need to keep turning up, and apply the same rules.
So, this morning might not be 3 hours of completely uninterrupted time, but does that mean I shouldn't try and do what I can? Should I postpone it because the conditions aren't perfect?
No. I shouldn't.
I should just get on with it. If I have to have the perfect conditions every single time I'll liekly never get anything done.
Here we go...let's see how it goes!
