Portico Darwin: Speechless

<1 Minute Read
Yes, it's true.  I have been left speechless by a 60th birthday celebration weekend that began with a completely kick-ass party on Friday, and culminated in my Niners destroying Byron Browne IV's Eagles Sunday afternoon.

In other words, this weekend was completely and totally Diamond Certified.  And thanks to the "creativity" of Elizabeth "Polly" Michaels and Primo Harvey PhD, I even have a shirt that proves it.

Here they are thanking me for having the courage to actually don this thing.

10 Seconds of Seriousness.  The party was better than I had even hoped, and I will repeat here what I said over and over Friday:  I am the luckiest person you know.  To have something like 35 friends - with 6 flying in from Houston, Denver, and Chicago - turn out in their finest and rage until the wee hours can leave even the most blabbery of blabber-mouths humbled and quiet.

So thank you to every single person that attended - you have no idea how much our relationship means to me.

But it's really this person that makes it perfect in my world.  Thank you, sweetheart.

Thank you for reading this newsletter.

Of course I made a playlist for the party - here it is.

I think this is when I put on "Rock and Roll Damnation," and let me be clear about the party and its intensity:  R2D2 had never been used at max volume as it was Friday night, and that is really saying something.
