This festival reminds us that true victory lies not in indulging in power.
We experience power in many forms:
- Through fierce ambition (Tamas – the first three days),
- Through wealth and desire (Rajas – the next three days),
- Through knowledge and wisdom (Sattva – the final three days).
Vijayadashami, the tenth day, marks the ultimate victory—not by succumbing to any of these powers, but by conquering and transcending them. May we all find peace and fulfillment in this deeper realization.
