Who are you taking business advice from?

Ninety six percent of companies are turning over less than one million dollars. Four percent are turning over between one and ten million. Only 0.4 percent are at between ten and fifty million and only 17,000 total are turning over more than fifty million dollars.

If your goal is to build a hundred-million-dollar company, there are fewer than 17,000 people who have that experience. But their advice holds the most weight.

Advice is common, but relevant, useful, tailored guidance is rare. It’s no surprise when you look at the numbers.

Who are you taking business advice from and have they ever been there and done it? Do they share your aspirations or is their ceiling capped by their beliefs and actions? Without filtering, we follow. Without questioning, our quest is hindered before it begins.
