Privacy focused ChatGPT replacement

Hey,

It has been a minute since I've shared anything.

As a quick reminder, I occassionally share cool tools that I use in everyday life (or for business). I keep it short, but if longer blog posts are your kind of thing, see my personal site).

So, I've recently stopped using ChatGPT due to the privacy concerns we've been seeing lately. If you're interested, you can read more about those here, here, and here

Yeah... it's bad, and it'll probably get worse over time.

I prefer to use duck.ai instead (by the popular privacy search engine, DuckDuckGo), which allows you to switch between any desired AI model (ChatGPT, Claude, Llama, Mistral).

  • No account needed (chats are saved locally to your browser)
  • Your IP address is removed and never shared with AI creator
  • The creators of the AI you select are not permitted to train their models using your chats

As the AI landscape evolves, we are bound to see more privacy mishaps.

You can avoid a lot of that by using duck.ai.
