Not everyone will understand what you are doing.

If you start a new job that is not what you would normally do.

If you start a new company. If you start a new project or passion.

Others might not "get it".
You are suppose to do what's expected. Mainly what they expect.

Few people take risks. Few people follow their passion.
Because of the people that won't agree.

People don't like to be alone. Either in a new place alone, trying new stuff....or

Being left behind and having to watch someone else do things you aren't (or won't).
They say misery loves company, yea?

Add to this you are doing this with more hours. Less pay (maybe no pay). You are talking about it joyfully.

They want to see you succeed but not if it doesn't include them or reminds them they aren't taking leaps. 

Don't let these people slow you down. Definately don't let them stop you.

The old saying is if you do new shit, you will need new friends. 

Self doubt and limiting beliefs come from within. But someone put those inside you at some point.

If you always got encouragement, you would not feel that.

Do I know about this?
Heck yes. Allllll the time.
Not daily but surely weekly.
