I was very fortunate to be asked to be a speaker and then a panelist at a great Restoration Event.
On the panel, I was joined by two others that are coaches and consultants in other areas of the business.
It was so good.
There was a corporate trainer for an 80 unit franchise that asked us all to list our top 3 things that every business owner should keep front and for most.
The other panelist had incredible answers.
Here are mine. Take them for what they are, but in my business experience, I’ve been able to eventually achieve most everything I wanted. So maybe add to your list of let this be a reminder if they already are.
1. Focus. The distraction that is being forced on us all is debilitating and causing serious stagnation.
2. Do the boring things.
Learn your numbers, build SOPs and make time for yourself. Slow down.
Most entrepreneurs avoid these like the plague.
3. Be eternally generous. Realize that money is not the goal. It’s a tool.
Be free with your knowledge, heart, energy and your earnings.
You can’t hoard it. It will drive you insane and you will miss the entire assignment.
I left Pennsylvania reminded what it might look like if more of our industry became more successful in all ways.
Have a good Saturday.
