First we had the early adopters.
First we had the early adopters.
They were considered “weird” for posting on the internet. But since they were the first to adopt social media, they claimed an unfair advantage.
This evolved into the title of Influencer. At first, this was an exclusive club. But over time, it has become more accessible.
Now we have Content Creators. More common titles such as YouTuber or TikToker.
Full Stack Creators will be the next generation.
The creator economy is booming. There are more Content Creators than ever before competing for your attention.
To be successful in this landscape, it's no longer enough to just be focused on a single type of content.
Full Stack Creators have:
- the technical skills needed to create any type of content (audio, video, and writing)
- the marketing and soft skills needed to promote their content strategically and foster a passionate community
- a systemized mindset that can stay organized and build content across multiple platforms
Some Full Stack Creators will be more specialized.
But just like Full Stack Developers, these Creators will still have the skills needed to work on any type of content.
A YouTuber will be more focused on video, but will also need to know how to write and market effectively.
An Online Writer will be more focused on writing, but will still need to connect with their audience in other ways.
Being a Content Creator is a dozen different jobs into one.
Choosing to focus on just a few is no longer an option.
