Was surprised but not shocked to see Discord shun the MSFT deal.
I wonder if it is just the case that the public markets are so hot right now that Discord sees going public as a better outcome even though the MSFT offer was quite generous.
Also selling, no matter what the construct, means you lose control at some point.

I get the context but maybe it is saying the same thing - Discord knows that in this era - games, chat, community and whatever else they can extend this into is gonna get much bigger.
Maybe the MSFT offer is just too small.
