What I’m listening to 🎶

I’m a big music lover and enjoy sharing what I’m listening to — sometimes with brief notes or discoveries. This page is updated regularly. Last update: 21/12/2025.

Ever heard of a mellotron? Listen and watch: Earth & Fire - Storm And Thunder.

Lou Reed - Satellite Of Love. Live 9/25/1984 - Capitol Theatre - Passaic, NJ. Great outro, btw.

Another forgotten masterpiece. Aphrodite's Child - The Four Horsemen. Listen especially to Silver Koulouris awesome guitar solo at the end.

Samantha Fish Band plays Black Sabbath's War Pigs. Keep on rockin' girl. I'm in love. 💕

A Million Miles Away. Just got back from some vacation. Ode to Ireland and Rory Gallagher!

Never knew until today that Linda Ronstadt sang this. 1967. The Stone Poneys - Different Drums.

Two of Dutch best female symphonic metal singers: Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation) and Anneke van Giersbergen (Vuur) - Somewhere.

Time for a little rock 'n' roll. Deep Purple performing Burn at the California Jam, 1974.
This is the #3 lineup with David Coverdale, Glenn Hughes, Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Paice and Jon Lord (died in 2012). They still touring today with the three original members of the band: Ian Gillan, Ian Paice and Roger Glover plus Steve Morse Simon McBride and Don Airy.

He came dancing across the water ....... Neil Young - Cortez The Killer

Unrivalled performance of two Beatle songs in the Mad Dogs & Englishmen tour (1970-1971): Something & With A Little Help From My Friends. Of course: Joe Cocker. RIP 2014.
Also worth mentioning: Leon Russell (guitar, died in 2016), Chris Stainton (organ), Rita Coolidge and Claudia Lennear (background vocals). And a lot more. What a party. 😎

New music (video) - Tidal Wave by Spin Twice & Tina Setkic.

After a hiatus of 7 years Tina Setkić is back in the band Spin Twice. She uploaded a new video on her YouTube channel Tina S.

Much too late I discovered The Cranberries - Promises, Paris 1999. RIP Dolores O'Riordan.
