It seems we do not recognize time as hours or minutes. Instead, we see them as three blocks Morning, Afternoon, and Evening. In each block, our brain evaluate our productivity.
How many things have I accomplished in the morning?
How many things have I accomplished in the afternoon?
Evening? Might be not much or even border to ask. The brain is running out of energy already. Some might be very good at night. There are plenty of them.
What happen when one gets up at 7:00AM and then drags their body along to the morning. Having breakfast, spend 30 minutes here and there. By the time they start to work, it is 10:00AM. And soon enough, lunch comes. Morning has gone with little or nothing registered as "DONE."
Cascade effect to the afternoon. Hurry up in the lunch time. Rush to finish the tasks in the afternoon.
Cycle repeats.
To break the vicious cycle, get up early in the morning, as early as you can manage. It is best to wake up before the Sun. Move your body with physical training. Learn hard things in the morning. By the time, other people wake up, you have done a few things, good ones.
Then repeat for at least 100 days. A few days or weeks is nothing. Do not fall into the trap of "21 days to form a habit." Bullshit. It takes months and years. 100 days is a good minimum number to start.
