While running, I tended to stop when the muscle started to hurt a little or breathed a bit heavier. In short, the response was Freeze in the very first sight of stress. And sometimes, a little bit of Flight. I still finished my runs as usual. However, it inhibited my progress for years without me noticing it. Well, until recently I read about F3 response from Becoming Bullet Proof book by Evy.
It is also my default whenever there is a task for me. Kind of saying No. Or refuse. Or hesitate.
First step is to notice it; catch it when it starts. Then, smile at it and continue. It is just a false alarm anyway.
