Will AI Agent coding be like another Food Industry?
We grew crop, chicken, pig, cow, ... on farm. We eat all natural food. No massive production. Everything was good and healthy (as we know now). But, with limited supplies. It took time to farm crop, to raise chicken and harvest eggs.
We invented machine and chemical stuff to massive production. Food Industry. Hyper processed food. It was a big leap and saved thousands of lives from famine.
In recent years, we are looking for grass fed beef, organic food, organic vegetables. And in the city, people start to grow their own garden to harvest vegetables.
Developers build software. And the main activity is writing code. It takes time and effort. It costs money. AI Agent comes in and claims to write code without developers. Code is generated faster and at massive scale. It takes less time to build software. And probably require less manpower.
When and whether will we ask for "organic" code? Code that write and craft by developers.
