Write your own messages

Back a few years ago, I read messages, texts from developers, CVs from applicants. There were many mistakes in writing. Terrible grammar. Sentence by sentence. Writing sucks and so do I.

Yet they were simple and straight to the point. I understood what they wanted to tell immediately. I spent less time and cognitive power to proceed information.

With the advance of AI, suddenly messages and texts and CVs are getting longer and longer. More polite. More words. Most of them are useless to the topic being discussed. I have to read more words to finally realize "Aha, this is what they wanted to say." Which requires just one third of the original words.

The same trend is moving towards coding. I always tell my teams, your writing, your code is you. They tell a big story of who you are.
