Greetings, Interoperable readers near and far!

It is time to delve into the long-overdue second edition of what will hopefully become a "mindful" media consumption series (See Part One here). Personal recommendations as an antidote to algorithmically mediated slop:

  • Bricks & Disorder (YouTube) Cullen and Ola are two best friends and are the creative duo behind Bricks & Disorder, a charming YouTube channel where the two tackle DIY projects in their shared London home.

  • Scott Brown Carpentry (YouTube) Scott is a carpenter from New Zealand; he and his partner Jess run a cosy channel centring on carpentry and DIY. Currently they've been posting a series of them in Japan, touring around and completing some carpentry projects for friends.

  • A Syllabus for Generalists (Website) "A syllabus for generalists is comprised of four weeks of general education; that is, a little bit of everything. It contains something for everyone—for specialists looking to branch out and for generalists searching for new beginnings of knowledge." I love the idea of a "syllabus for life" Stay tuned more on this idea in the annals of Interoperable
