So, I just bought this motorbike. Brand new. My first brand new bike ever.

And it's great! Such an amazing feeling riding it. I haven't had this for a while on bikes.

It reminds me of my first modern four-stroke motorcycle, 4 stroke motorbike, a Honda VT600 Steed from the 90s. I loved that bike. Of course, everyone loves their first bike, but I still believe that bike showed at that time, what Honda was capable of. Amazing engine, enough power, not too big, really high engineering.

I've had much newer Hondas lately, but they just don't have the same feel.

That old Steed's gearshift? It was so precise. Finding neutral? Easy as. The gear lever had a solid stop after top gear (it had only 4 gears on the Steed!), so there was no pointless extra click.

So this little Enfield is kinda like that. To me, Royal Enfield today feels like Honda did in the '90s. It is much nicer to ride than some Hondas from the present.

A little comparison:

I know Honda is capable of manufacturing great bikes still, probably the GB350 proves that, but it seems like Honda needed Royal Enfield to build something great again. 

I'm a Royal Enfield fan now, I'm sure it's not my last RE and I'm sure this one will bring so much joy.
